Cooking was something which Christina was really good at. It came as a shock to most people since she did come across as a real girly girl however cooking was one of her strengths, especially when she had to do it for herself every day. Her parents were never around, they had their own lives with their busy careers and instead of showering Christina with their love and attention they just threw money at her in replace. Her older brother wasn’t around and so she grew up as an only child having to look after herself in every difficult situation, though that was something she was use to now. She hadn’t actually offered to teach someone how to cook before, but she figured she would with Tristan since it would be another chance for them to hang out and have fun. He made her smile and made her blush, but the one thing she liked the most was that she could be herself around him and he would still like it. “no, i can teach you...when you grow old you’ll thank me for it. you can’t live on take out your whole life” laughing softly, she glanced over at him. She was one to talk, Christina didn’t always cook, she had her lazy days through the week and well take out was always the easiest option when she was hungry. “aw, why would you feel lame? That’s kinda cute” she smiled small over at him, she did think it was cute and it made her a little less nervous about their night together on a date. Before he came to pick her up she was extremely nervous since it was the first time she had been on a date with anyone in a long time, but the more time they spent together, the more comfortable she was becoming in his presence.
“oh yeah. But it would have to be a beach house with a great view, so i can watch the sunrise and sunset everyday” she smiled over at him. “omg, i’m such a geek!” turning to him she was about to reply to his comment about him playing in the NBA, however she was interrupted as Tristan began to speak once more. “yeah...you, me and my movie star husband all in the same house, that would be too much fun” she instantly turned to him with a huge grin on her face, indicating she too was joking around. “i should be saying the same thing to you, mister i’m going to be an NBA star!” stares at him. “it’s gonna be you forgetting about me, especially when you have all the chicks throwing themselves at you...just you wait” she laughed softly, pausing for a few moments. “it’ll be like Christina who?...i don’t remember you” that was the one thing that worried Christina, the fact that when both of them got successful, they would lose contact and never speak, he was becoming such a good friend and her not having Tristan in her life right now would be a big loss. It wasn’t long before they pulled in the parking lot of the restaurant. Letting out a small laugh, she glanced over at him shaking her head. “omg! Wicked? I can’t remember the last time i heard that word...” in fact she hadn’t ever heard anyone say that word in Chester Bay, only on TV. Letting him open the car door for her, she slipped out, pulling her dress down slightly before standing. “thank you, i could have opened the door” she smiled, taking his hand once more as they walked towards the entrance, shortly hearing yet another compliment fall from his lips. “aw, thank you Tristan. You look good too” she smiled, glancing over at him.
They almost looked like the perfect couple as they walked through the doors of Constantine and into the waiting area. The word Almost was an important word since they wasn’t actually together. Christina glanced around the room full of people slowly. “it’s busier than i expected...” she whispered to him, lacing her fingers tighter with his. Not that it was a problem for her being as it was her first time there she expected it to be a little more quiet. Allowing the waiter to show them to a table for two, she slipped into her chair opposite him, before taking the menu off the waiter. “and now i’m really hungry” instantly smelling the food as they had walked into the restaurant made Christina’s appetite rise even more.
